FC Bayern started the build-up to Der Klassiker on Tuesday morning in brilliant sunshine. As there are no midweek games, the Reds have five days to focus on the clash with Borussia Dortmund on Saturday (18:30 CET).

Following a day off on Monday, Hansi Flick used the first session to work on tactical issues. And it was a strenuous workout. The players set about training with plenty of passion and high intensity in a range of drills and work on a number of transition situations. As Joshua Kimmich, Thomas Müller, Serge Gnabry and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting had not had enough, they had an acrobatic game of football tennis to round off proceedings. Bayern are feeling good and can hardly wait for Der Klassiker.
