It was an important step in the right direction. The FC Bayern Esports team earned a deserved 2-0 win against Galatasaray in their first game on matchday six in the KONAMI eFootball.Pro League but had to settle for a 1-1 draw in the second match of the day. [José Sánchez](https://fcbayern.com/en/teams/esports/players/jose-carlos-sanchez-guillen), [Alex Alguacil](https://fcbayern.com/en/teams/esports/players/alejandro-alguacil-segura)and [Miguel Mestre](https://fcbayern.com/en/teams/esports/players/miguel-mestre-oltra) made up ground in the table and are now in eighth place just three points behind the play-off spots.

Here are the highlights of the matchday:

In the first game, it was almost exclusively one-way traffic with Bayern playing great attacking football with some wonderful moves. Given the number of chances there could well have been more than two goals. FCB also had the upper hand in the second match and deservedly took the lead but then conceded an equaliser from a long ball just before half-time. But the team under coach Matthias Luttenberger were determined to win and they went all out in attack but were unable to make the breakthrough. The next match is against Barcelona (fourth place) in two weeks time (10 April). Bayern definitely need a result to keep in touch with the play-off spots.
