In the Bundesliga clash versus Union Berlin (1-1), Jérôme Boateng (66') and Kingsley Coman (46') had to be substituted off early. "Jérôme came off with some knee problems. Coman took a blow to the top of his fibula and had some issues. But I don't think it's anything too bad," Hansi Flick explained after the final whistle, adding that the French attacker was scheduled to come off at the break in any case.
The next few days will determine whether both will be able to feature against PSG on Tuesday night. This also applies to Leon Goretzka (thigh problem) and Lucas Hernández (bruised rib), who both were rested against the Berlin side. "I have more hope with Lucas Hernández - even if it's an injury that's more painful. With Leon, we can't take any risks because it's a muscular injury. There we just have to wait to see if the doctors give the green light."
