Even before kickoff against FC Augsburg, things got emotional at the Allianz Arena on Saturday. FC Bayern said goodbye to three great players and members of the successful coaching staff before the season finale.
Memories of great times and many titles
David Alaba (13 years at the club), Jérôme Boateng (ten years) and Javi Martínez (nine years) will leave the German record champions in the summer and each were presented with a large canvas depicting them with all their trophies by CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, club president Herbert Hainer and Board Member for Sport Hasan Salihamidžić as a token of thanks and recognition of their great achievements. The presentation was topped off with rapturous applause from the 250 spectators in the stadium.

Thank you to Flick, Gerland & Klose
The same was said for Hansi Flick, who managed his last game as FCB coach against FCA, after 19 months and an incredible seven trophies. Alongside him, his assistant coaches Miroslav Klose (with the club as a coach since 2018) and Hermann Gerland (25 years with FCB) were also given a fitting send-off. Tiago Dantas, who will leave Munich after one year, also received a farewell picture in memory of his time at FC Bayern.
On Sunday, fcbayern.com will show a film on Hansi Flick film as a farewell:
