The training ground is filling up. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting returned to full training at FC Bayern on Wednesday following his holiday. The striker, who recently extended his contract at the record champions to 30 June 2023, played two internationals for Cameroon at the beginning of June (1-0 and 0-0 against Nigeria). Following medical and performance tests in the past few days, the 32-year-old is now training for the first time under the direction of new coach Julian Nagelsmann.
Good mood on Wednesday morning: Choupo is back!
Choupo-Moting and Co. completed an intensive session on Wednesday morning. After the warm-up routine, several strengthening drills plus technical tasks, attention turned to tactics in matches. The Bayern players certainly worked up a sweat with their runs on the training ground. Tomorrow's training session for FC Bayern is available to watch as a free livestream. The first pre-season friendly is on Saturday (17 July) when FCB play FC Köln in Villingen.
