FC Bayern started their final week of preparation for the Bundesliga opener with some very good news. Alphonso Davies and Kingsley Coman returned to squad training on Monday. Davies suffered a torn ankle ligament in his left foot while playing for the Canadian national team in mid-July. Coman returned to the team after recetly training by himself due to the knock to his back he picked up in the Audi Football Summit against SSC Napoli.
Head coach Julian Nagelsmann challenged his players at the start of the week with an intensive training session at Säbener Straße. Bayern still have four days to prepare for the start of the new season. On Friday evening (20:30CEST), the German record champions host Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Bundesliga opener.
