A clean sweep for Leroy Sané! After the award for FC Bayern Goal of the Month, the winger has now also claimed the Player of the Month title for September. And he did so by an overwhelming majority of 60 per cent of the votes, well ahead of Robert Lewandowski (9%) and last month's winner Jamal Musiala (8%).

September was a real breakthrough month for the 25-year-old. Having struggled for consistency at the start of the season, there was no stopping him last month. With three goals and four assists in just five games, Sané thoroughly deserves his first award from the Bayern supporters. As well as his wonder goal against Bochum, the Germany international's dazzling display against Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League particularly stands out, for which he was named 'Man of the Match'.
