12 wins in 13 games for FC Bayern! Find out what the players had to say after a commanding 4-0 win over Hoffenheim, what the players thought of playing in front of 60,000 spectators again and find out who fulfilled their "childhood dream" today:
Reaction from the Bayern camp:
Hasan Salihamidžić (Board member for sport): "When our fans are here, it's a completely different feeling. We were very happy about that. For the players, of course, it also serves as huge motivation. We're in very good physical condition. The boys have gained a lot of confidence. We have a very good team with a lot of quality. The coaches have done a very good job managing the busy schedule and workload. We want to continue like this and try and play the next games as well as we have done the last few."
Dino Toppmöller: "We deserved to win today. The team played very good football in the first 30 minutes. After we went 2-0 up, we dropped off the pace a bit. In the second half, we also lacked a bit of sharpness at the back, which is why Hoffenheim were able to put together some moves up front at times. We were better towards the end again today."
Robert Lewandowski: "It was a great moment to play with so many fans back in the stadium again. We scored four goals and everyone had a lot of fun. Sometimes it's not so easy after a Champions League game. But we have a great squad, even the guys off the bench. I'm very happy, it was a nice goal, I can just enjoy that."
Dayot Upamecano: "Things are going well for us, we've kept a lot of clean sheets now. That's our job as a defence. I'm very happy about my two assists today. The fans helped us a lot and it's nice to have them back."
Omar Richards: "I'm very happy to have got the chance in the starting eleven today and that the coaches believed in me. I'm happy with my performance and with my team. The most important thing is that we got the home win today. It is a bit of a goosebump feeling. You dream of things like this as a kid, and right now I just feel like I'm living out my dreams, the Champions League game the other night, and now getting my first start for Bayern. It's been an amazing time for me at the club, and really I just feel the support from the fans in the stadium, it's amazing. I enjoyed every minute today."
Reaction from the TSG camp:
Sebastian Hoeneß (Head coach, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim): "Congratulations to Bayern for a deserved victory. We are not satisfied, especially with the first half. We'd planned to be braver, especially in the first few minutes. We then fell behind quite early on. After that, we had one or two chances, but there was also a lack of consistency. After the break, we tried to turn the game around. From the 55th to the 70th minute, we had two or three good chances. I'd have liked to have seen how it might have gone if we'd got a goal back to make it 2-1. We missed that opportunity and were unlucky to concede the third goal. In the end, we deserved to lose."
David Raum (TSG Hoffenheim): "Shortly after the game, you naturally feel very disappointed. It's hard to play well against Bayern, to try to play and not just drop deep. We even managed to create chances. If we score one, then we're back into the game and it's 2-1. In the end, we conceded the third and the fourth, so it looks convincing in the end. Against such a strong Bayern team, these things just happens."
