Three in a row! After his awards for September and October, Leroy Sané again came first in the fan vote for the FC Bayern November Player of the Month. Forty-four per cent of the votes went to the winger, with Robert Lewandowski (22%) and Thomas Müller (10%) behind him in second and third.
Two goals and two assists in November
The 25-year followed up his outstanding performances from the previous two months in impressive style in November. Sané was a crucial factor in Bayern’s strong attack, delivering two goals and two assists in five appearances. As well as his brilliant display in the 5-2 Champions League win at home to Benfica (one goal and one assist), the Germany international also provided the winning goal in the hard-fought 1-0 victory against Arminia Bielefeld with a fine long-range strike. The winger is becoming more and more important for FC Bayern – and the third successive Player of the Month crown is fully deserved. Congratulations, Leroy!
