Impressive turnover before the opener

Tolisso played a huge part in setting the Munich team on their way to victory early in the game. In the ninth minute, the France international initiated the play before the first goal of the game with an outstanding turnover just in front of the halfway line.

With his left foot, Tolisso flicked the ball fantastically in to double Bayern's lead.

In the 25th minute, Tolisso scored a wonderful goal to double the record champions' lead. After Marcel Sabitzer's cross, the 27-year-old played a beautiful one-two with Thomas Müller. Tolisso then fired the ball into the left corner with his left foot from the edge of the penalty area. It was the first goal of the season for the Frenchman.

Midfield stabiliser

Bayern's number 24 was proactive from the start and organised Bayern's play in the centre of midfield. In the 75th minute, Tanguy Nianzou, another returnee, came on for the scorer of the second goal. After his goal, Tolisso had run to his compatriot, who was still on the bench at the time, and celebrated with him. The 27-year-old deserved to come off early after a lung-busting performance.
