FC Bayern and NOVENTI sign health partnership
FC Bayern has agreed a health partnership with NOVENTI Health SE that will run until mid-2024. As part of this partnership, the doctors and physiotherapists of the German record champions will work closely with the health company on numerous joint campaigns and events. In addition, the club will support the digital platform impfen-in-apotheken.de, where people can make COVID vaccination appointments online.
FC Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn: "Our new health partner NOVENTI is making a valuable contribution to the fight against the pandemic with impfen-in-apotheken.de. We as FC Bayern are very happy to support this initiative, it offers another opportunity to get involved in the fight against COVID."
FC Bayern board member for marketing Andreas Jung: "With NOVENTI as our health partner, we are showing how closely sport and health belong together. We both have a strong history of over 120 years, and we look forward to working together personally and in partnership in the future."
"We're pleased FC Bayern München is actively and publicly supporting us on the issue of vaccination," said NOVENTI CEO Dr Hermann Sommer. "Participation, responsibility and partnership have always formed the basis for the success of both partners. This applies to FC Bayern as the sports club with by far the most members globally, and to NOVENTI as the market leader in the healthcare market and partner to all service providers."
"We at NOVENTI are committed to the health of everyone," added NOVENTI Chief Commercial Officer Mark Böhm. "In football, health is of particular importance. We are very proud to be FC Bayern's official health partner and look forward to working closely together."
With immediate effect, people throughout Germany can make their COVID vaccination appointments online via the impfen-in-apotheken.de portal. The vaccination will then be carried out at one of the participating pharmacies in their area. This simplifies the process for patients and pharmacists alike. The advantages lie in the area-wide access to vaccinations and personal advice in the local pharmacy. In addition, the platform offers the opportunity to discuss questions with doctors virtually via impfen-in-apotheken.de in the run-up to the vaccination. NOVENTI's aim with impfen-in-apotheken.de is not only to promote vaccination readiness, but also to provide real added value in overcoming the pandemic by ensuring nationwide vaccination coverage as well as providing individual guidance.
