No Monday training at Säbener Straße? No way! Niklas Süle and Alphonso Davies completed individual sessions on the FC Bayern training ground this morning. Defender Süle was recently sidelined with a thigh muscle injury.
After evidence of myocarditis, Davies was able to join in with sections of full training last week. The 21-year-old had a reason to celebrate on Sunday evening. His Canada teammates secured a place in the 2022 World Cup finals with a 4-0 win against Jamaica. This is the second time Canada have qualified for the World Cup finals tournament (previously in 1986).
