Robert Lewandowski has retained his crown as the FC Bayern Player of the Month, this time for March 2022, thanks to his excellent form with six goals in four games. The February winner and reigning Best FIFA Men's Player received 30% of votes from fans, finishing ahead of the likes of Kingsley Coman (14%) and Thomas Müller (12%) for the award.
Lewandowski scored the earliest hat-trick in Champions League history in the round of 16 second leg against Salzburg.
Unstoppable
The striker made history once again in the Champions League round of 16, bagging a hat-trick after just 23 minutes of the second leg against Red Bull Salzburg. The 33-year-old also struck in the 1-1 draw at Hoffenheim, before ending March with a brace against Union Berlin. He looks set to defend his title as Bundesliga top scorer once again.
