They improved with every game, and this ensured their place in the final round! In game 1 against the French, Alguacil was beaten 4-1 by Lucas Lorge despite leading 1-0 at one point. In the following clash with Rachid Tebane, Sánchez drew 1-1 before Mestre defeated Guilherme Fonseca 2-1 in the last game to to pip Manchester United to the last remaining play-off spot. "We finished third in the group of death. They were difficult and high-quality games. I'm happy with the level the team reached," Mestre wrote on his Twitter channel afterwards.

The knockout stage will be played on 25/26 June. There, the Bayern Esports team will face Barcelona in the quarter-finals, who are led by Saúl Adrián Chávez Saucedo (12 goals), the top scorer in the competition so far. The winner of that match will then meet Glasgow Celtic in the semi-finals, who as winners of the group stage qualified directly for the last four.
