FC Bayern in partnership with adidas are holding an open football tournament for the inauguration of the Sugar Pitch at the Sugar Mountain cultural centre in Munich Obersendling. Teams with at least six and a maximum of eight players will play qualifying group matches on a knockout basis on the Sugar Pitch on 2 and 3 July 2022. The four semi-finalists are certain to be starters in the finals of the 'adidas x FC Bayern Fan Masters' on 9 July and the two other sides in the finals tournament will come from the four quarter-final sides. The games will be five against five and will last six minutes. The male and female players have to be over the age of 18. Registrations can be submitted up to 24 June HERE. Due to capacity, a draw will be made to decide participants in the qualifiers. There are great prizes for the winners.
The Sugar Pitch is a sustainable football ground, which FC Bayern in association with partners adidas opened for street footballer players. Football enthusiasts can play there on a 30×15 metre soccer fives court. The artificial pitch is 100% carbon neutral and is made in part from sugar cane.
