
Robert Lewandowski and Poland got their UEFA Nations League campaign under way with a 2-1 win at home to Wales on Wednesday. The Bayern striker led out his country in Wroclaw on Matchday 1 of Group 4 in League A. The Welsh went ahead on 52 minutes through Jonny Williams before the hosts turned things around with strikes from Jakub Kaminski and Karol Swiderski. Poland's next game is away to Belgium on Wednesday, 8 June.
Win for Tillman on USMNT debut

Malik Tillman made his senior debut for the USA on Wednesday night when the young Bayern attacker came on in the 65th minute of the USMNT's 3-0 friendly win over Marocco in Cincinnati.
Victory and defeat for Nianzou
Defender Tanguy Nianzou is currently with the France U20 team at the Toulon Tournament. He played the whole of his country's opening fixture, which ended in a 4-2 shootout defeat to Panama after a goalless draw. However, he didn't feature in the 5-0 win over Saudi Arabia. The final group game against Argentina is on Saturday, 4 June.
