Welcome back! This weekend, another group of senior players including Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka and new signing Sadio Mané started their pre-season training at FC Bayern. After some of their teammates couldn't wait for the start of the new season and already took to the pitch on Friday, it was now their turn for medical checks on Saturday. On Sunday, the men from Munich faced the challenge of the obligatory performance diagnostics, in which they had to prove their coordination skills as well as their speed and agility under the guidance of Prof Dr Holger Broich.

This coming Tuesday, the next batch of returnees will rejoin Julian Nagelsmann's team, which will kick into high gear: Before the Bavarians head off to the USA for the 2022 Audi Summer Tour on 18 July, there's still a packed week of training ahead of them. The 34-year-old coach has scheduled a total of ten sessions over the next six days - and you can even watch the last of them live in the stadium on Saturday afternoon as part of the Allianz FC Bayern Team Presentation (Tickets) or follow it in real time with our free live stream.
