What's up Jamal?

The USA up close with Jamal Musiala! We're meeting up with the 19-year-old FC Bayern shooting star every evening in the team hotel. In the diary, the Germany international takes you to Washington DC and Green Bay on the Audi Summer Tour 2022.

Servus, Bayern fans!

Today I continue my diary from Washington. On Tuesday everything revolved around training for us, I can tell you that much. The start of the season is getting closer, so we're putting our foot on the gas in preparation. Today was another busy day.

After getting up - I slept well after the long day of travel on Monday - we went to breakfast and had a meeting with the coach. That and the morning session that followed were mainly about tactical things, so I can't reveal too much. 😉

After the session, Phonzie, Leroy, Josh and I checked out our hotel a bit and looked at the gym - it's really cool - and the basketball court. We're using all your energy in training right now, but maybe we can play a bit on Thursday.

After lunch and the midday rest, we had a second training session and there were loads of fans, despite the heat. It was brutally humid and quite exhausting. The US fans pushed us, they were really emotional, screaming and cheering. After the session we signed a lot of autographs. A fan asked me about the Splash Bros video with Phonzie, it was one of the highlights of the day for me. 😉

Now we're back in the hotel, we'll have something to eat, I'll go to the physio for a bit and then end the day watching a TV episode or something. I want to go to bed early, they are really intense days right now. We have the friendly against DC and I'll report back here. See you tomorrow!
