The traditional FC Bayern Charity Golf Cup took place for the 25th time on Friday. Over 60 participants played for a good cause at the Schloss Egmating golf club, including honorary president Uli Hoeneß, CEO Oliver Kahn, board member for sport Hasan Salihamidžić, board member for marketing Andreas Jung, vice-president Prof. Dr. Dieter Mayer and former president Karl Hopfner.
As with previous editions, the proceeds went to the Franz Beckenbauer Foundation as well as FC Bayern Hilfe e.V. With the help of partners, sponsors and the participants, a total of €50,000 was raised. The cheque presentation took place on Friday evening at DO & CO Restaurant. President Herbert Hainer and honorary president Franz Beckenbauer were also in attendance at the dinner.
