The FC Bayern squad had a traditional appointment on Sunday. The annual lederhosen photoshoot with partner Paulaner took place at the Nockherberg in Munich, with the players swapping the Bayern kit for Bavarian dress. It was a particularly special event for new signings Sadio Mané, Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui, Ryan Gravenberch and Mathys Tel, who looked good in the traditional costume with the Janker and Haferlschuh.
“I know this tradition already from my time in Salzburg,” said Mané. “I enjoy wearing lederhosen because in general I’m very interested in different cultures and their traditions.”
