Plucking the ball out of the air with his left foot, controlling it and then rounding the goalkeeper to finish on his right. That was Leroy Sane’s goal to open the scoring in Bayern’s 2-0 Champions League win at Inter Milan. It was the perfect start to the new European campaign. And FC Bayern fans agreed, voting for the 26-year-old’s move as the Goal of the Month for September 2022.
Clear victory for Sane
Leroy Sane’s superb goal put Bayern ahead away at Inter Milan.
Sane was the runaway winner amongst fans with 42.3% of the vote. Jamal Musiala’s goal against VfB Stuttgart came second, followed by Giulia Gwinn’s direct corner for the Women against Werder Bremen.
