Choupo-Moting and Cameroon out of World Cup despite beating Brazil

Despite a surprise 1-0 win over favourites Brazil in the final group game, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Cameroon have been knocked out of the World Cup. A 3-2 win for Switzerland against Serbia in the other fixture in Group G meant that they followed the five-time winners through to the last 16 in Qatar. The Bayern striker played the full 90 minutes for Cameroon, who snatched a winner in the 92nd minute through Vincent Aboubakar. However, it wasn’t enough as the Africans fell two points short in third place.
