After a busy week with two tough matches in Paris (1-0) and Mönchengladbach (2-3), head coach Julian Nagelsmann allowed his team a day off on Monday to recover. Despite that, Kingsley Coman and Paul Wanner used the training-free day to complete individual sessions at the training ground on Säbener Straße.
Coman came off with a knock in the Champions League clash against PSG last Tuesday and therefore sat out the match at Borussia on Saturday as well as the substitute training session on Sunday. Wanner was last included in the German record champions' squad in the home game against Bochum on 11 February.
The whole squad will be back on the pitch from Tuesday in order to prepare for the top-of-the-table clash against Union Berlin on Sunday evening (17:30 CET). Bayern will be looking to claim their next home win at the Allianz Arena and move clear of the capital club, who are currently level on points, at the top of the table.
