FC Bayern Esports beat AS Roma on Matchday 3 of the Konami eFootball Championship Pro. The team, coached by Matthias Luttenberger and comprising José Carlos Sánchez, Miguel Mestre and Mücahit Sevimli, picked up two wins and a draw on Saturday. Sánchez made a fast start against Adrian Constantin "ASR_URMA43" Urmă, racing into a 2-0 lead after 16 minutes. The Roma man fought back, however, and levelled the score at 2-2 in the 88th minute. Sevimli came out on top 2-1 in a tight contest against Andrea "ASR_STIFFLER" Galimberti, while Mestre managed to keep a clean sheet in a 1-0 victory over Salvatore "ASR_Gagliardo28" Gagliardo as he brought another close-fought three points back to Munich.
Sánchez: Now we’re in a good position
José Carlos Sánchez was relieved afterwards: “Today it was important to bounce back after the last matchday against Barcelona. We knew we had to play effectively to beat Roma. They have very good players. Although three wins were possible, we’re pleased with the seven points. Now we’re in a good position.”
