FC Bayern Esports Matchday 4

Third place defended - FC Bayern Esports defeat Inter Milan

Another seven points! FC Bayern Esports defeated Inter Milan on Matchday 4 of Konami's eFootball Championship Pro. Coach Matthias Luttenberger's team of José Carlos Sánchez, Miguel Mestre and Mücahit Sevimli achieved two wins and a draw again last Saturday. Sevimli gave Bayern a dream start against Arda "ArdaGolaaazoo" Yıldız and was already 2-0 up after 21 minutes. In the second half, the Milanese representative fought his way back into the game, halving the deficit in the 61st minute and equalising in the 74th to make it 2-2. Mestre got off to a bad start in the second game. After 22 minutes he was already 2-0 down against Mehrab “MeroMen” Esmailian. However, the Spaniard showed nerves of steel and was able to score one goal before half-time (45') before turning the game around to 4-2 in the second half. Sánchez didn't concede a goal that day, and brought three points back to Munich with a 1-0 (1-0) win over Mike "EL_Matador" Linden in a close game.

Sevimli: "We're very happy with the seven points"

Mücahit Sevimli summed up the fixture against the bottom side as follows: "We want to get at least seven points every matchday. We knew the game against Inter would be difficult. They only had four points going into this fixture but the way they are playing they deserve more. We're very happy with the seven points."
