FC Bayern and URSAPHARM extend partnership

FC Bayern and URSAPHARM Arzneimittel GmbH are extending their successful partnership by a further three years. The Saarbrücken-based pharmaceutical company, with its market-leading HYLO range of products for the lubrication of dry eyes, has worked together with the German record champions since 2017.

Andreas Jung, FC Bayern board member for marketing: “We’re very pleased about the extension of the partnership with URSAPHARM and HYLO. For elite athletes in particular, healthy eyes are essential to producing maximum performance. In that respect, the topic of eye protection is also one that’s important to us.”

Dominik Holzer, executive partner at URSAPHARM: “We’ve already been working together very successfully with FC Bayern for six years and have been able to significantly increase our brand awareness within the framework of the partnership, especially at national level. The extension of the cooperation is therefore a logical step for us, as we would like to continue to engage with young and sporty target groups in particular and raise awareness of the topic of eye protection – but with an even stronger international focus in the future."

Going forward, the focus of the partnership will be more on international markets – above all on China, where FC Bayern has a large and ever-growing fan community. The activation activities include the exclusive broadcast of LED advertising boards with HYLO branding in the Asia region.
