"Without the City of Munich, none of this would be possible. I hope we're repaying that. Particularly with images like those today - like the men giving the women a guard of honour on the way to picking up the trophy - these are wonderful images." Reiter added: "I've never experienced a weekend like it, both the men's and women's titles being decided on the final matchday - that's something special."

After the official reception, the players headed out onto the balcony to the cheers of thousands of Bayern supporters!

Naturally, Thomas Müller also took the microphone: "We have to say thank you. It's been negative at times in the second half of the season. There were reasons to jeer now and then, but we always felt your full support," declared the born-and-bred Bavarian. "It's worth it to keep pushing and stick together even in difficult times. Last week no one would've bet on us, but none of that interests me. We are champions!"
19:15: Tuchel on his first title celebration and the summer
"It feels very good. There were a few dramatic twists along the way, but we had the happy ending," said coach Thomas Tuchel at his first title celebration at Marienplatz, before immediately looking ahead.
