Good news from the training ground at Säbener Straße: Dayot Upamecano began running again on Tuesday morning. The 24-year-old sustained a muscle strain last week. His coach Thomas Tuchel said before Sunday's crucial 2-0 win at home to Hertha BSC that the France international was expected to be out for "around two weeks".
Hernández also working towards comeback
With no training for the rest of the squad, Upamecano's compatriot Lucas Hernández also continued to work individually on his comeback on the next pitch. The 27-year-old has been sidelined by a cruciate ligament tear since November.
