FC Bayern Esports lost to Manchester United on Matchday 7 of the eFootball Championship Pro by Konami. The team of coach Matthias Luttenberger and José Carlos Sánchez, Miguel Mestre und Mücahit Sevimli were beaten in all three games against the Red Devils on Saturday. In the first encounter of the fixture, Mestre went down 2-0 to his opponent Lotfi "Lotfi" Derradji, before Mücahit lost 1-0 to Lucas "Nekza" Lorge. Only Sánchez registered a goal but that wasn't enough to take anything from his clash against Kilyan "Kilzyou“ Faucheux, which ended 2-1.

Roma in quarter-finals
Following the conclusion of the seventh and final matchday of the preliminary round, FC Bayern Esports ocupy fourth place on 32 points and will now face AS Roma in the quarter-finals of the knockout phase on 24 June. The winners of that match go through to play FC Barcelona in the semi-finals. The line-up of the six remaining teams is completed by Manchester United, Arsenal FC and AC Milan.
