The 2023 edition – a repeat of last year’s clash between Bundesliga champions Bayern and DFB Cup holders Leipzig – will this time be held at the Allianz Arena in Munich on Saturday, 12 August. Kick-off is at 20:45 CEST.
As was also the case last year, Bayern and Leipzig’s participation in the Supercup will see their first-round fixtures in the DFB Cup postponed to either 26 or 27 September, with all other games in the opening round taking place on the weekend of 11-14 August.
