FC Bayern secured the eleventh Bundesliga title in succession in a highly dramatic finale at the end of May. The Reds will be looking to make it a dozen in the new campaign! The match schedule for this historic mission is out. The German Football League (DFL) announced the fixtures for the forthcoming 61st Bundesliga season on Friday: FC Bayern start the new season on Friday 18 August with an away game at Werder Bremen kicking off at 20:30 CEST. The match will be broadcast live in Germany on DAZN and on the terrestrial channel SAT.1. The clash with Werder will be the 113th meeting in the Bundesliga, which is a record in Germany's top flight.

Derby home opener against Augsburg
The team under coach Thomas Tuchel play the first home game a week later in the Bavarian derby against FC Augsburg (25 to 27.08.23). The top game against runners-up Borussia Dortmund will be played on matchday 10: Bayern are away to BVB on the weekend of 3 to 5 November 2023.
The final game in 2023 for FCB is an away fixture at VfL Wolfsburg on matchday 16 (19/20 December). That is followed by the winter break. The final match in the Hinrunde and the first game in 2024 is at home to TSG Hoffenheim on the weekend of 12 to 14 January 2024. The second half of the season kicks off a week later with a home game against Werder Bremen (19 to 21 January).
Season finale in Hoffenheim
The last home game against Wolfsburg on matchday 33 (10 to 12.05.24) is followed by the season finale for Bayern in Hoffenheim on Saturday, 18 May 2024. The clash on matchday 34 kicks off at the traditional time of 15:30 on a Saturday. Fixture dates and times will be confirmed over the course of the season and are primarily dependent on Champions League and Europa League games. The DFL will announce the exact kick-off times of the first games in the next few weeks.
