FC Bayern's first-round tie in the 2023/24 DFB Cup away to SC Preußen Münster takes place on Tuesday 26 September at 20:45 CEST. The meeting with Preußen, who have just been promoted to the 3. Liga, will be broadcast live on ZDF and Sky in Germany. The announcement was made by the DFB on Wednesday morning. While the majority of the first-round fixtures are being played between 11 and 14 August, the German record champions join the competition later due to their involvement in the DFL-Supercup against cup holders RB Leipzig on 12 August (20:45 CEST).
