In addition to preparing for the Audi Football Summit against Kawasaki Frontale, FC Bayern used Friday on the Audi Summer Tour for a few other engagements in Tokyo. A delegation led by president Herbert Hainer visited club partner adidas and the German ambassador, and board members Dr Michael Diederich and Andreas Jung were also hosted by the Office of the Free State of Bavaria in Tokyo. Bayern delegation visits German ambassador

President Herbert Hainer, vice-president Prof Dr Dieter Mayer and board members Dr Michael Diederich and Andreas Jung paid a visit to Ambassador Dr Clemens von Goetze with a delegation from the German record champions. "Sport stands for inspiration - beyond playing fields and international borders. Sport seeks, promotes and improves interaction with people. Sport can do a lot to help the world grow together," said Hainer.

Press conference ahead of Audi Football Summit 

Just over 24 hours before the Audi Football Summit kicks off, Serge Gnabry and head coach Thomas Tuchel took questions from the world's media about Saturday night's clash with Kawasaki Frontale. Among other things, Tuchel gave a team news update and announced that Minjae Kim is expected to make his debut for FC Bayern.

Visit to partner adidas

Herbert Hainer, former CEO of adidas, visited the headquarters of the sporting goods manufacturer in Tokyo on Friday morning. Together with club legend Giovane Élber, the president of the sports club with the world's largest membership answered questions from the HQ employees.

FCB delegation celebrates 35th anniversary of the Office of the Free State of Bavaria in Tokyo

While Bayern's public training session was underway at the National Stadium, a delegation from the German record champions led by board members Dr Michael Diederich and Andreas Jung was hosted by the Office of the Free State of Bavaria in Japan. The representative office in Tokyo is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year and has been committed to strengthening economic relations between Japan and Bavaria since its foundation.
