Harry Kane fever hits Munich

The curtain has been raised on Harry Kane’s career as a Bayern player after the striker signed for the club on Saturday. “Anyone who saw the fans in the stadium, the city or the people on Friday night at Säbener Straße knows that Munich and Bayern are so excited about Harry,” said CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen at the England captain’s unveiling on Sunday. That excitement can now been seen again in the centre of Munich with a giant poster of Kane on the outside of the theatre at Sendlinger Tor, which was revealed on Monday evening and will stay in place until Wednesday.

“I haven’t had a lot of time yet to look around. I’ve only heard great things and will definitely find time to get to know the city and the people. I want to do that as soon as possible,” said the 30-year-old, who wants to use the coming weeks to discover his new home after a hectic first few days at Bayern.
