Konrad Laimer and the Austrian national team ended their EURO 2024 qualifying campaign with a win. Having already secured their place in the finals in Germany next summer, Ralf Rangnick's side claimed a convincing 2-0 victory in Estonia. FCB midfielder Laimer scored the opening goal after 26 minutes, with Freiburg's Philipp Lienhart adding the second shortly before half-time. Raphaël Guerreiro received a late call-up to the Portugal squad but did not feature in Thursday evening's 2-0 win over Liechtenstein in EURO qualifying, where Cristiano Ronaldo and João Cancelo scored the goals.
