FC Bayern’s U19s face their biggest game ever on the international stage as Rene Maric’s side prepare to host Olympiacos at the FC Bayern Campus in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Youth League. Kick-off on Tuesday, 12 March is at 4pm CET. Entry is free.
Historic campaign
It is the first time ever that Bayern have gone beyond the last 16 in the Youth League. The Munich U19s finished second in their group before beating Basel (2-0) and Feyenoord (3-2) in the knockout rounds. Now they welcome Greece’s U19 champions to the Bavarian capital.
Previous meetings
Bayern have met Olympiacos four times previously in UEFA’s U19 competition. The Greeks claimed narrow 1-0 wins in both encounters in 2015/16, but the 2019/20 meetings were far more comprehensive results for the young Germans, with a 4-0 win in Piraeus and 6-0 back at the Campus.
Tickets and travel
Entry to the Youth League quarter-final at the FC Bayern Campus is free. There is plenty of parking available. The Campus can also be reached with the U2 underground line to Am Hart, followed by the 294 or 295 bus to FC Bayern Campus.
