FC Bayern defender Alphonso Davies welcomed Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson to the FC Bayern Campus in Munich. The 23-year-old Canadian and 27-year-old American competed in various challenges together and talked about their different sports. “It was really cool,” said Davies afterwards.

Davies the wide receiver
Wearing his Ravens uniform and shoulder pads, Davies tried his luck as a wide receiver catching long throws from the star quarterbacks, who was named the NFL’s MVP for the second time in 2023 after 2019. After a quick switch, Jackson tried his skills at football with the Bayern man.

Afterwards, Jackson met Bayern’s women’s team and had lunch with Germany international Giulia Gwinn and Davies before a try of Bayern’s Skills.Lab. “We need a facility like this in America,” said a clearly impressed Jackson after his session with Davies in the academy’s football simulator.
