Fans choose Serge Gnabry’s neat flick against Mainz
You could see the joy on the face of Serge Gnabry, but even he didn’t quite seem to believe how he’d just put the ball away. With Leon Goretzka crossing from deep, the forward almost went too far towards goal but twisted his body in the air and flicked it home with his heel. It was Bayern’s sixth of the day in the 8-1 win over Mainz and has been voted by fans as the club’s Goal of the Month for March 2024.

Serge Gnabry produced a bit of trickery to score against Mainz.
Gnabry’s tricky finish earned 30 percent of votes from fans, beating out Jamal Musiala’s effort against Freiburg (25%) and Klara Bühl’s strike for the women in their big win over Wolfsburg (20%).
