Konrad Laimer and Matthijs de Ligt were subbed off due to injury during Saturday's Bundesliga home game against Eintracht Frankfurt. Laimer was forced off the pitch following a challenge after 28 minutes and was replaced by Aleksandar Pavlović. De Ligt was replaced by Minjae Kim at half-time. “Matthijs is feeling ligament pain in his knee. Konny twisted his ankle and suffered a capsule injury. Both players were in too much pain to continue. We have to wait and see what the medical examination brings. We're hoping they can make it back in time for Tuesday,” Thomas Tuchel explained at the post-match press conference.
