While teams in Europe are preparing for Euro 2024 in Germany, Alphonso Davies will be getting ready for the Copa America with Canada, and Noussair Mazraoui’s Morocco have World Cup qualifiers to play.
Canada: Alphonso Davies
Davies and Canada will make history this summer as they compete at the Copa America – South America’s continental tournament – for the first time. It is being played in the USA between 20 June and 14 July, but Davies and his team will first be in Europe getting ready with friendlies against the Netherlands in Rotterdam (6 June, 8.45pm CEST) and France in Bordeaux (9 June, 9.15pm).
The Maple Leafs then open the tournament against holders and world champions Argentina in Atlanta on 20 June (8pm EDT/ 2am CEST on 21 June). Davies & Co. then face Peru in Kansas City (5pm CDT on 25 June/ midnight CEST on 26 June) and Chile in Orlando (8pm EDT on 29 June/ 2am CEST on 30 June).
Morocco: Noussair Mazraoui
Mazraoui and Morocco continue their qualification campaign for the 2026 World Cup with a home game against Zambia in Agadir on 7 June (12pm CEST) before an away match against the Republic of Congo on 11 June (6pm CEST). The Atlas Lions currently lead Group E in African qualifying after a 2-0 win at Tanzania in their opening match in November.
