Johannes Schenk is moving from FC Bayern to Preußen Münster. The 21-year-old goalkeeper spent last season on loan at the club and has now been signed permanently. Preußen Münster ended the campaign by being promoted to Bundesliga 2.
FC Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund: "In Johannes Schenk, we're delighted to see another player from our FC Bayern Campus making his mark in professional football. Johannes has developed very well at Preußen Münster and the promotion to the second tier gives him excellent prospects to take his next steps. We wish him all the best for the future."
Born in Schweinfurt, Schenk joined the German record champions' U16s from 1. FC Nürnberg in the summer of 2017. After strong performances at the FC Bayern Campus, he was handed his first professional contract in Munich, which was valid until 2025. Schenk was part of the senior squad who won the Bundesliga in 2023.
FC Bayern have agreed a contract extension with home-grown talent Aleksandar Pavlović:
