Together, FC Bayern and the car manufacturer are offering talented youngsters from all over the world the chance to get a little closer to their dream of playing professional football.
Michael Diederich, executive vice chairman of FC Bayern: "The FC Bayern World Squad has established itself as a great platform for young talent and as a springboard for players from underdeveloped regions . We are delighted that Audi has been supporting us in the project since this year. Together we want to offer the young players opportunities to develop their sporting skills at the highest level, while at the same time it is important to Audi and FC Bayern to promote intercultural exchange and convey the values of togetherness."

Christian Schüller, director of sports marketing at Audi: "The World Squad brings together players from the most different regions of the world, and all of them contribute their skills and abilities in order to ultimately function as a team. This lived diversity and the aim of getting the best out of every individual ties the project with Audi's company culture."

After an exciting, eventful time in the USA, the class of '24 has been back in Munich since Monday, where, in addition to training sessions and matches, various activities await the boys off the pitch. On Tuesday, the players, together with head coach Roy Makaay and assistant coach Diego Contento, were invited to a factory tour at the Audi Forum Ingolstadt. There, the team was able to take a look behind the scenes of the global vehicle manufacturer and experience the entire process of creating an Audi at first hand.
James Lackay, striker for the FC Bayern World Squad: "The Audi tour was very interesting. We were shown each stage of the Audi production process and I learned a lot of new things about cars. The Audi in the FC Bayern design looks class, and I'd love to give it a drive one day."

Following a warm welcome from Christian Schüller, the boys were taken on a tour of the production facility at the Ingolstadt site. The tour guides took plenty of time to explain all the processes and production steps to the players, from assembly and body construction to the first engine start. A particular highlight was the Audi e-tron GT in the FC Bayern design, which was elaborately created as part of the long-standing cooperation and delights fans of FC Bayern and Audi worldwide.
Coach Makaay presented Christian Schüller with an FC Bayern jersey signed by all the World Squad players as a thank-you for the excellent cooperation in the project and the fascinating factory tour.
„The boys had great fun and it was also interesting for me to see the inside of the production facility for the first time.”
