The 2024/25 Bundesliga season begins for FC Bayern on Sunday 25 August at 15:30* at VfL Wolfsburg. This was confirmed by the German Football League (DFL) on Thursday along with all the other dates and kick-off times for Matchdays 1 to 5. The German record champions then play their first home game at the Allianz Arena against SC Freiburg on Sunday 1 September at 17:30.
Saturday evening clashes against Kiel and Leverkusen
Following the first international break of the season, Vincent Kompany's side vist Bundesliga newcomers Holstein Kiel on Saturday 14 September at 18:30. That's followed by another trip north to Werder Bremen on Saturday 21 September (15:30), before the Bavarians welcome German champions Bayer 04 Leverkusen to Munich for the top clash on Matchday 5 on Saturday 28 September (18:30).
