FC Bayern's Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala were among the joint top scorers at the European Championship. A total of six players, all of whom scored three goals, shared the accolade at Euro 2024. In addition to Kane and Musiala, Dani Olmo (Spain), Ivan Schranz (Slovakia), Cody Gakpo (Netherlands) and Georges Mikautadze (Georgia) also netted three times in the tournament.
Kane had scored for England in a 1-1 draw against Denmark in the group stage. In the round of 16 against Slovakia, the FCB striker scored the crucial goal to make it 2-1 in extra time, and in the semi-final against the Netherlands he equalised for England from the penalty spot. Musiala scored in both of Germany's group matches against Scotland (5-1) and Hungary (2-0), and the 21-year-old attacking midfielder also netted in the round of 16 against Denmark (2-0).
