Michael Olise and the French team made it two wins from two at the Olympics, putting them on the verge of the quarter-finals. Les Tricolores beat Guinea 1-0 in Nice on Saturday evening. FCB new boy Olise played a key role for the French, setting up the winning goal for Kiliann Sildillia in the 76th minute and playing the full 90 minutes.
After the 3-0 win over USA in the first game, France are top of Group A with six points. They face New Zealand in the last group match on Tuesday at 19:00 CEST in Marseille, where only a defeat by a margin of more than two goals would prevent Olise and Co progressing to the quarter-finals. A draw or victory would guarantee Thierry Henry's side top spot in the group.
