Rest for Palhinha
Portugal won their opening fixture of the new UEFA Nations League season on Thursday night without João Palhinha. The midfielder watched from the bench as the Portuguese beat Croatia 2-1. Diogo Dalot (7') and Cristiano Ronaldo (34') netted the goals for the hosts, before an own goal from Dalot (41') made the final score.
