After the 4-2 victory over FC Heidenheim, FC Bayern staged a members' Stammtisch on Saturday evening. Besides president Herbert Hainer and deputy vice president Walter Mennekes – first vice president Prof Dr Dieter Mayer was absent with excuse – board member for sport Max Eberl, sporting director Christoph Freund and other club officials were available for selfies, autographs and talks with about 200 members. The German record champions provided a shuttle bus service from the Allianz Arena to BMW Park.
"It's important to us that we as FC Bayern are an approachable club," Hainer said ahead of the 2024 Annual General Meeting: "It's a nice tradition to talk with the people in such a context because our members are the foundation of our club. We all get valuable impulses from these meet-ups." Max Eberl, who took part in the Stammtisch for the first time since returning to FC Bayern as board member for sport, said FC Bayern was like that when he was a young player working his way through all the youth teams: "I think people like that we always remain appraochable despite far more than 360,000 members."
The members enjoyed burgers, Paulaner beer and soft drinks while exchanging views on the team with Eberl and Freund and discussing the German record champions' goals and visions with the executive committee and board. Advisory board member Hildegard Müller, head of FC Bayern Campus Jochen Sauer, Allianz Arena managing director Jürgen Muth, head of fan and fan club department Markus Meindl, director of media Stefan Mennerich, FC Bayern Basketball CSO Adrian Sarmiento, director of legal affairs Veronika Saß, sponsoring director Benjamin Hoeneß, head of human resources Aika Hämmerle, strategy director Daniel Högele and FC Bayern eV managing director Benny Folkmann were available for talks.
A special exhibition in honour of Franz Beckenbauer will be on display at the 2024 Annual General Meeting:
