The conditions outside could not spoil Jonas Urbig's mood. In temperatures of three degrees and unpleasant sleet, FC Bayern's new signing stepped onto the training pitch at Säbener Straße for the first time at 10:03 on Tuesday morning. With a broad grin on his face, the 21-year-old walked alongside goalkeeping coach Michael Rechner to complete his first individual training session with the German record champions. The goalkeeper's transfer from 1. FC Köln was announced on Monday evening.

New number 40
Bayern's new number 40 is now part of the Reds' goalkeeping team. "I'm proud to be here now and I'm looking forward to getting to know my new team as quickly as possible," said Urbig after signing. The first priority for the German U21 international is settling into his new club and a new city.
Meanwhile, his new colleagues are preparing for the upcoming Champions League match against ŠK Slovan Bratislava on Wednesday evening at the Allianz Arena. We're showing the final training session live from 14:00 CET today (to the stream).
