There was quite literally no stopping this shot from Leroy Sané! It was the seventh minute of FC Bayern's Bundesliga match against TSG Hoffenheim. There had been no attempts on goal yet, no opportunities for either goalkeeper to impress – and the Bayern winger wanted it to stay that way. After a lay-off from Thomas Müller, Sané fired off the first shot of the match from around 12 metres with such power that Oliver Baumann in the TSG net didn't have to time to react. All he could do was watch as the uncomprimising strike flew into the bottom corner.
35 percent vote for Sané

Supporters of the German record champions also watched in wonder, with 34.5 percent of them voting for Sané's opening goal in the 5-0 win over TSG. Leon Goretzka's goal in the 3-2 win over VfL Wolfsburg (26%) and Harry Kane's effort in the 2-1 victory at Freiburg (19%), both of which also opened the scoring, came second and third.
Not his only goal of the game
The goal for 1-0 wasn't to be Sané's last against Hoffenheim, as the Germany international completed the third brace of his Bundesliga career by making it 4-0 in the 48th minute. He also impressed against TSG with 55 touches of the ball (the most of Bayern's attacking players), four shots on goal and had contested the most duels for FCB at the time of his substitution (20, winning 55%.
