There was good news in the chilly Munich sunshine on Tuesday afternoon as Hiroki Ito took part in team training as the squad held an open session in front of fans at Säbener Straße. The 25-year-old defender has been out of action since suffering a broken metatarsal in the summer and is now working his way back to fitness.

Leon Goretzka also joined in the session as he progresses towards his comeback from a hamstring strain suffered against Freiburg. In addition, Gabriel Vidović was back in Munich and training with the squad following the termination of his loan deal at Mainz.
